About You and this Role

 

As an intern, you should have a strong desire to apply the knowledge you’ve gained in college to solve challenging, real-world problems with one of the fastest-growing open-source companies in the world.

 

By joining the Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of Liferay’s core products alongside people from all over the globe. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to develop both Frontend and Backend skills. The experience will be hands-on, dynamic, and fun—but that depends largely on you!

 

If you are currently enrolled in Higher Education, have at least one year of study remaining, and want the chance to explore life inside a software company, apply now!

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in Java and Javascript
  • Self-motivated with a drive to learn and seek out answers.
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.



Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with projects using Java/JavaScript as a primary language (academic or personal).
